A man once lived in a faraway land of firey skies and burning sand he was swamped with fears throughout all his years of things he could not understand
Through labels he lived his entire life In boxes he placed his beloved wife Trapped without air Closed into dispair She died by her hand with a knife
Time passed but the man did not learn Boxes and boxes became his concern He gave in instead Labels strong in his head True freedom would never return

Funny how when your perspective of a person changes, art changes too. This is different than when I began.
Wow, I see the difference! (I remember the earlier version). This turned out really well. I can almost feel the movement through deep space.
-- Rules are like paperclips: meant to keep things together, fun to bend, and easily twisted out of shape. There is no problem the human mind cannot solve or create. Step One is learning the ropes. Step Two is chewing through them.

You produce in such epic scale,it's difficult to really experience the force and drama in your images on a simple screen, this is so ambitious, with so much evident work and emotion put into it,that i feel in some way robbed of it's impact,i would love to see your larger pieces in a proper venue and really experience their influence on me
This is a very good work and i hope that everyone who views it recognizes your talent

Impressive! Must've been very tedious filling all those boxes in, but it paid off; well done, I especially like the square/diamond protruding from the background.
I love the static idea - very fitting for the initial idea, actually. He's static because he refuses to change his perspective on the world, and is getting buried in his own limitations.... well now you know where I was coming from!

Wow.
That is a really really nice comment. Thank you for taking the time to look; I am very happy that it seemed to have moved you in some way. I have been producing art for a long time, but it is only recently that I understand how different each piece is for someone else - how you never can quite convey exactly what you mean to say... regardless, it is worth every agonizing moment that forces me to paint (I paint to release emotions) when someone tells you they have been touched by your work (or in this case, my efforts!). So thank you.
Your kind words really mean a lot to me!

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
