Anyway, I am so happy I was able to sketch something up quickly while sitting in the coffee shop, trying to ignore the catty college freshman girls "oh-my-godding" at the next table.
Found that on the recent Deviant row right on the front page.. instant click.. more so because of the title and because I couldn't quite make out what the thumbnail showed me there.
Now I do though and I have to admit that I like it. Odd, cause usually I'm not too much into surreal stuff.
Those deep eyes though and the detailed feathers (or whatever that is), plus the shape in the middle which kind of makes me go "eh?"... well I'll just say I like it.
It's very good - it looks real even though I know it can't be. I'm not sure why, but it creeps me out. It looks to me like the thing with the eyes is about to do something terrible to the dark part in the middle. Or that the dark part is part of it, and the thing got slashed across the face and it's hurt.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

(sigh) the clouds are so nice.
It means quite a lot that you noticed it on the page and went in for a closer look.
Stop by again some time! I do mostly surreal stuff, but there's also mediocre photography and some lifelike nudes toward the beginning of my gallery.
Thanks again!
