Artist's Comments

In the great depths of the sea, no light shines. But once a year, the sun makes its way past the coral straircase and illuminates the floor below. This, my friends, is when the eye of the sea tulip opens and admires the sparkling sea.

Acrylic, 2001.

*sigh* This is going to be my last submission for a while. I have been slowly uploading my collection and now I've reached the end. I'm not sure how I'll be able to upload my art from Spain and Greece, but if I find a way, I surely will. Thanks to all of you who have looked at my gallery and been so supportive!

Ooh! very otherworldly, I love the texture of the eye and the shimmery veil on the right.

Have a wonderful time in Greece and Spain, two of the most beautiful places on Earth. I can't wait to see what you produce.

P.S. Shoot Dr. Allen on sight and dissolve his body in acid. Don't burn it

very nice work; I really enjoy looking at the lively colors and the composition works perfectly with them. I kind of has a surrealistic feel to it, too; reminds me of Dali :)

Awwww.... that's so shweet!! :aww:
Thanks a lot! Hopefully I'll be able to download some stuff as I go. I don't know how, considering I'm going to be couch-surfing and probably using internet cafes (I don't know how my photo uploads will work), but it's important to me to do so for documentation purposes, as I'm going to try my first attempt at selling work out there too. I figure even if I get 5 euros for a painting, that's pretty good as long as someone really wants it.
I know; I'm going to have DA withdrawls too!
